Accounts Receivable Management Saudi Arabia

Active AR management for Saudi businesses β€” invoice tracking, customer collections, debtor ageing reports, output VAT compliance, and credit control.

Uncollected receivables are the single most common cause of cash flow crises in Saudi businesses. Generous credit terms, slow-paying government and quasi-government customers, and unstructured follow-up processes can leave significant revenue sitting in the debtor book β€” while VAT has already been paid to ZATCA on invoices not yet collected. Active, systematic accounts receivable management converts invoices into cash and protects your business from bad debt write-offs.

Intelli Solutions provides managed AR services that track every sales invoice from issuance through to collection β€” maintaining an accurate debtor ledger, producing weekly ageing reports, driving proactive customer follow-up, and ensuring your output VAT obligations are correctly timed with receipt of payment where applicable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Under Saudi VAT rules, output VAT is due when the invoice is issued β€” not when payment is received (with some exceptions for cash basis accounting for small businesses). This means ZATCA expects VAT payment even if the customer hasn't paid. However, if a debt becomes irrecoverable (bad debt), a VAT bad debt relief claim can be made to recover the VAT previously paid β€” subject to conditions. We manage the VAT bad debt relief process as part of our AR service.
