Frequently Asked Questions

For employees who resign with less than 2 years of service: no EOSB. 2–5 years: entitled to 1/3 of the calculated amount. 5+ years: entitled to the full calculated amount (half month per year for first 5 years, one month per year thereafter).
The Tasaheel scheme (effective June 2024) replaces the traditional EOSB for new employees β€” employers make monthly contributions to individual investment accounts. The employee owns the accumulated balance upon departure. Both old and new schemes may apply to transitional employees.
